Extra 300 - G-SIII - Description and Specification

  • Factory-built in Germany in 1994.
  • Imported into England in 1994, registered G-SIII.
  • Two-seat sport monoplane of conventional steel tube construction with a carbon-fibre wing.
  • Certificated to +/- 10g in Aerobatic 1 Category.
  • Lycoming AEIO-540 engine producing 300hp at 2700rpm.
  • Mulbauer MT 3-blade metal constant speed propeller.
  • Max level speed approx 170kts, Vne 220 kts, normal cruise 150kts giving 60 litres/hr.
  • Bendix fuel injection system, Christen inverted oil system.
  • Previously owned and operated by Brian Lecomber as part of the Rover Pair for Firebird Aerobatics.
  • Will fly at all levels of competition including International Unlimited, and is legal for World Class Advanced category contests.
